Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone

 Dave Barrett gave me this on extended loan. The overdrive part of it alone is a throaty, medium-high gain with a luscious mid range. It also has a powerful compressor which, when used irresponsibly, yields gushy, almost synth-like sustain, which I happen to love. For practicality sake, I run this in parallel, when I can, but it also has a blend control on it so I can rough it if I need to.
