I am a bassist who plays gigs, tours & sessions.
I have experience in all styles. I have recorded & gigged in rock, progessive rock, pop, jazz, blues, folk, country, reggae, ska & classical projects. I can sight read, or I can learn & play by ear.
My personal collection of instruments I can bring along includes: electric bass guitars, acoustic bass guitar, electric fretless bass guitar, upright bass, and the Chapman Stick.

Coaching addresses a player's needs in a way that is performance & results driven. I am here to help you surpass obstacles in your musical life. I am not just a formally-educated teacher of the mechanics of music, I can offer solutions to problems & plateaus, help you prepare for upcoming auditions, nail a challenging piece or help eliminate pain when playing. Although I primarily coach bass players, I have also coached singers, pianists, and guitar players. Coaching can happen in-person in Toronto, or remotely via video conference (unless I'm travelling and happen to be in your town).
PRODUCTION
Production is the process of seeing a project through to its fruition. What
form that takes depends on what you need to get it done - and with an end result that will make us both proud.
I can assist with composition or arranging. I can help rehearse your band to prepare for the sessions. I can help demystify the recording process. I can record simple things simply or large bands in large studios. But no matter what, I will make sure it's recorded beautifully, in a way that captures your passion & excitement, and helps to identify, refine or preserve your sound.
