Aguilar Amps

 I’ve used and enjoyed many amplifiers from many brands. I’ve owned amps with very differing tones. A very old Traynor Bassmate with a buttery voice. A Trace Elliot Combo that simply wouldn’t die, and had that British voice that I still enjoy. A High Fidelity Component System with a Demeter Pre-Amp. A Hafler Power Amp and Bag End Cabs; it weighed a ton but sounded beautiful. Aguilar came to my attention years ago when they were making their name with all tube pre amps and power amps. They still make those but have more recently added lighter weight options that, although not tube driven, have that Aguilar character. I defined that as being as warm as Ampeg but with more fidelity. The features, size, weight and accolades made the choice simple. That they were so kind to extend endorsing artist pricing to me was the final, generous bonus.
